whitney started playing drums since he was 12 inspired by Nirvana’s legendary drummer dave grohl and he started drums with an Iranian drum master Ashoor z. moradian.

Mehr Dadgan was born on October 4, 1980 in Tehran He started his artistic career in music with an electric guitar in 1996 and continued with a classical guitar in 1999, then in 2005 he switched to a bass guitar, until in 2023, he switched to electric guitar again in the AzhiRock project. Over the years, he has worked with various bands in the underground rock and metal scene of Tehran. Since he was a teenager, he was very interested in graphics and cinema and displayed his graphic works in numerous exhibitions. His musical listening background goes back to classical music, English progressive rock of the 70s, jazz fusion from the early 70s onwards, electronic music, avant-garde pop, experimental music and the metal music scene of the 80s and 90s. Bands that influenced him include Pink Floyd, Beatles, King Crimson, Rush, Yes, The Who, Deep Purple, Led Zeppelin, Judas Priest, Death, Tool, Jethro Tull, Porcupine Tree, Metallica, David Bowie.
